"It was great to focus on visual art throughout this time and to explore the relationship between visual art and music. I deeply appreciate the process of art making and thinking through drawing. I have found visual art unique in it's potential for providing self reflection. It enables you to process thoughts over time with silence and space. I find this process to be a sort of foundation for songwriting. Both practices complement eachother."
